Public Summary

Human bronchial epithelial (HBE) cells are infected by SARS-CoV-2. We are studying SARS-CoV-2-related host cell genes in these cells. The work is relevant to understanding why people with various comorbities like asthma and COPD may have different outcomes in COVID-19.
