Public Summary

Using an anonymous public survey, we collected self-reported information from individuals who had been tested for COVID-19. With the pooled initial responses we have shown predictors for a COVID-19 positive test in a relatively healthy outpatient population include smell or taste change, fever and muscle aches. We have ongoing analysis on the relationship between degree of smell change, parosmia and COVID-19 as well as the recovery of smell loss after COVID-19 infection.
