Public Summary
The Azithromycin for COVID-19 Treatment, Investigating Outpatients Nationwide (ACTION) study is a randomized, double-masked, placebo-controlled trial designed to determine whether a single oral dose of azithromycin can prevent hospitalization in patients with COVID-19 who are not currently hospitalized. The study is conducted remotely
