COVID-19 Research Coordination Task Force

To ensure that UCSF is as prepared as possible to address the ongoing COVID-19 and future pandemics, EVCP Dan Lowenstein appointed Kathleen Liu, PhD, and Anita Sil, MD, PhD, as co-chairs of the COVID-19 Research Coordination Task Force In June 2020. The task force is charged with coordinating, facilitating, and fostering current and planned research at UCSF to address COVID-19 and potential future pandemics, in addition to building broad awareness of existing UCSF COVID-19 research efforts.

The task force has developed several recomendations and a detailed outline for a proposed UCSF Center for Pandemic Readiness and Response (see button link below).
